Trinidad and Tobago Pride Arts Festival (TTPAF)
TTPAF is our local Pride celebrations that takes place in June/July every year. The festival showcases the work of various local and regional community artists and attracts hundreds of people each year.
The King Show and Conference
The King Show is an annual pageant for transgender men and masculine-presenting lesbian, bisexual and queer women since 2016. It is an artistic performance of non-toxic forms of masculinity defined by and performed to community members. The King Conference was founded in 2017 with participants from St. Lucia, Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
The King Conference is a space that documents, develops and theorizes the experiences of transgender men and masculine-presenting lesbian, bisexual and queer women, which is under-explored in the Caribbean.
The Your Story regional Research Project
The Your Story research project captures the lived experiences and legal, health, and community supportive structures available to Caribbean LGBTQ people in a comprehensive survey questionnaire designed by members of I Am One.
